REQUIRED MEDICAL DOCUMENTS

Before your arrival to Russia, make sure to prepare the following medical documents:

• A negative test for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and AIDS, issued by the official medical body of your country of residence (the test date must be within 6 months of your first day of studies).
• A medical certificate confirming the absence of contraindications to studying in the Russian Federation, issued by the official medical body of your country of residence (certificate of health and readiness for study).
• A vaccination certificate or another document(s) listing the vaccines you've received.

In accordance with a decree of the chief medical officer of St. Petersburg, the two-dose measles vaccine is mandatory for students.

The aforementioned documents must:

• be in the Russian language or accompanied by a notarized translation into Russian;
• bear the signatures and seals of the relevant officials;
• be provided as physical copies (on paper).

Important: accommodation at ITMO University's dormitories is allowed only upon provision of the full set of medical documents, including a current chest X-ray, and upon completion of a health check-up.

Important: to remain on the territory of the Russian Federation, you must hold a valid medical insurance policy

Important: your medical insurance policy must start on the first day of your stay in the Russian Federation.
