Remote entrance exams for applicants to Bachelor's programs
Remote entrance exams for applicants to Bachelor's programs will be conducted with the help of ITMOproctor, a special proctoring app.
In order to take part in the remote entrance exam, applicants to Bachelor's programs need to ensure that their equipment meets the following requirements:
- a personal computer (at least 1 GB free storage, at least 1 GB RAM, operating system: Windows XP+, OS X 10.7+, or Linux) connected to the internet with a connection speed of at least 2 Mbps;
- an external webcam;
- internal or external speakers;
- an internal or external microphone.
Before the remote exam, the applicant will receive an email to the address they provided during registration, containing the exact time of the exam (in GMT+3), as well as a user manual and personal login information.
Depending on the subject, the exam might take between 1.5 and 3 hours.
We recommend that you download, install, and launch the ITMOproctor app in advance followingthis manual.
Use the following login information to TEST that the app is working correctly:

Make sure that you have installed the latest updates for ITMOproctor before the start of your exam.
On the date of the exam, you should log into the ITMOproctor app 20 minutes before the scheduled start time in order to let an Admission Board specialist confirm your identity and check your workspace. After this procedure is complete, you will be able to start your exam.
The entire duration of the exam is overseen by an Admission Board specialist via the ITMOproctor app
Applicants are forbidden to communicate with anyone, use any electronic devices apart from their computer (mobile phone, tablet, calculator, etc.), use additional monitors, turn off their webcam or move out of its view.
Applicants can make use of drafts (using a blank piece of paper with a pen or a pencil).
