About the program
The Master’s program trains experts in laser and synchrotron technologies who will develop functional materials and data transfer systems for high-tech applications.You’ll learn to:– develop cyberphysical networks based on laser technologies;– design and implement advanced data transmission technologies;
– develop technologies for data collecting, processing, and analysis in comprehensive research experiments;
– generate and study new functional materials for laser and synchrotron technologies.You’ll master:– the basics of optoelectronics (component base, data transmission, processing systems, and device design – lasers, light-emitting diodes, and photodetectors)
– operation of laser and synchrotron equipment;
– methods for big data processing;
– use of AI and machine learning for interpreting research results, engineering developments, and experiments;Thanks to the program’s interdisciplinary approach, students will acquire skills across the following fields:– optical and quantum communications;
– electronics;
– laser physics;
– materials science;
– chemistry;
– biology;
– analysis of big data using AI;Graduates of the program will obtain skills and experience in such fields as:– optoelectronics;
– optical materials and technologies;
– systems for digital signal processing;
– physics of nano- and biosystems;
– development of technologies associated with the use of laser and synchrotron radiation sources.
