About the program
As early as their second year, students have the opportunity to begin working on projects on the following topics:
- quantum communications and networks, quantum computing, optical and quantum AI technologies;
- fundamental and applied aspects of femtosecond optics, as well as nonlinear phenomena in the visible, IR, and THz frequency ranges;
- devices for holography and terahertz photonics, including 6G networks;
- use of lasers in biology, medicine, cultural heritage diagnostics, and quantum communication;
- software for photonic integrated circuits;
- design of optical materials (glasses, crystals, ceramics, glass ceramics, nanocomposites, optical films and coatings, and microstructured optical fibers) for next-gen photonics.
