About the program
The program trains specialists in development, production, quality management, and certification of food products.During your first year, you will pursue knowledge across core professional disciplines, including food chemistry, microbiology, functional food and nutrition, food industry innovations, smart and functional packaging, and more. You’ll also be able to work on a team project based on a case prepared alongside industry leaders. The program places a high priority on assisting students in shaping their professional goals: from the beginning of your studies, your lectures will be taught by heads of HR departments at prominent companies.
The second year of your studies will be focused entirely on your internship and graduation paper.
Foodtech students can gain a year of work experience prior to receiving their diploma by participating in a two-semester internship. Among the internship options in 2025 within the program were Logika Moloka, Kolomenskiy Holding, Baltika, Bochkarev Brewery (formerly Heineken), Galaktika, BIOTROF, Stern Ingredients, EIVA PRO, Verde Tech, and AF Brew.
The program is headed by Olesya Volokh, the head for research, nutrition studies, and development of starter cultures at Logika Moloka (formerly Danone Russia; Health & Nutrition).
