About the program
Developed in partnership with Ozon, the Master’s program trains mid-level and senior IT specialists who can create and improve network software, as well as design and support highload services. The curriculum offers gap-fill training for first-year students, making it possible to teach students with different engineering backgrounds.You’ll master the methods of web development, cloud technologies, telecommunication networks, containerization, and infrastructure automation. The program covers such tools as Ansible, PostgreSQL, Prometheus, Grafana, and Kubernetes, as well as the Go, C#, Python, and R programming languages. A particular focus is placed on research and management of IT products, which allows students to design and optimize modern-day information systems.
The program offers a choice of two specializations:
- Industrial Backend Development (w/ Ozon). This track is aimed at producing scalable and distributed services aligned with the industrial partner’s engineering culture and technology toolkit.
- Industrial Backend Engineering and Infrastructure. This specialization focuses on DevOps and SRE practices, automated management of complex software-defined infrastructure and service security.
