About the program

Large businesses in the real economy are in need of not just tech experts but managers who can turn IT infrastructure into an efficient business unit. We train exactly this type of specialists – strategists who manage technologies, processes, teams, and finances to help companies reach their goals.

Want to transition to IT management? Then, this program is for you. It’s designed for seasoned IT specialists wishing to reach a new level and learn to manage projects, finances, and teams; it’ll also be a good fit for managers in other fields who want to lead IT departments at companies.

With a focus on IT in the real economy, rather than IT companies, the program keeps textbook theory to a minimum and prioritizes training based on practical cases from partners in the real economy: fintech, industry, and logistics. Students will be introduced to the entire cycle of IT infrastructure management – from strategic planning to budgeting and implementing systems and analyzing their performance. They’ll learn to not just set up servers but turn IT into a business unit: budgeting, building teams, negotiating with leaders, and bringing profitable solutions to the market.

The training covers both hard (architecture, cloud, and DevOps) and soft (teamwork, presentations, and strategy) skills, as well as practical activities (from planning a three-year budget for an IT company to implementing systems at partner companies).

Outcome: graduates are market-ready for architect, project manager, or CTO roles, armed with both a degree and a portfolio of cases and projects, including complex ones.
