About the program

As a student of the Laser Technologies Master’s program, you will train to design, develop, and deploy laser technologies.In your first year, you will need to choose your specialization: Laser Micro- and Nanotechnologies, Laser Technologies for Biomedicine, or Industrial Laser Technologies. Within two years of studies, you will explore the interaction of laser radiation with materials, formation of laser beams, and optimization of laser systems parameters; learn to apply laser radiation in surgery, therapy, dentistry, and cosmetology, as well as to solve modern industrial problems in the field of applied materials processing. You will be able to implement your ideas at the International Research Laboratory for Micro- and Nanotechnology Lasers and the Laboratory of Industrial Biomedical Laser Technologies using state-of-the-art equipment. After graduation, you can build a career in the industry as a laser engineer, designer, or programmer or become a leader of a high-tech business or startup.

Applications can be submitted to the Rossotrudnichestvo office at a Russian Embassy/Consulate or an office of the Russian Center of Science and Culture.
