About the program
By joining the program, you can opt for the combined Master’s-and-PhD track to start your PhD thesis in advance, enroll into a PhD program of your choice exam-free, and defend your thesis earlier.
The program offers the Optical Infocommunication Technologies track. By the end of the program, you can receive two qualifications in the following subject areas: 11.04.02 Infocommunication Technologies and Communication Systems and 16.04.01 Technical Physics.
Light Guide Photonics and Programmable Electronics is a corporate Master’s program aimed at helping students acquire hands-on work experience. During your studies, you will get the chance to work at ITMO’s Research Center of Light-Guided Photonics or at top tech companies, such as Gazprom Neft’s Science and Technology Center, Siemens, Ericsson, the Center for Digital Innovation, Electropribor, etc.
