I started ITMO’s Bachelor’s program Mechatronics and Robotics in 2017. I instantly liked the engineering and technical intro courses we had starting our first year. Lecturers at ITMO are exceptionally good, especially those in digital modeling and programming. Those who want to learn – will certainly get to do that at ITMO. Also, the university has a rather friendly environment, though the now-popular coworking spaces opened only by the end of my studies. As a second-year student, I did my internship at the Russian State Scientific Center for Robotics and Technical Cybernetics, where I stayed after as a technician. While doing my Master’s, I got the position of an engineer and worked simultaneously at two departments – a student construction bureau and an Extreme Robotics Center. By the end of my studies, I was appointed the head of a bureau at the Special Technological Construction Bureau. I can confidently say that here I gained a solid foundation and skills that I apply in my work.
