About the program
The Master’s in digital urban studies gears future specialists with competencies in applying the latest information technologies to tackle the challenges of urban studies. Сity management and decision-making requires specialists to orchestrate large quantities of information. Students of the program learn to collect, process, and analyze information to solve practical tasks associated with the planning and design of urban environments.The program welcomes applicants passionate about urban studies and the application of advanced information and digital technologies in urban management and development. Over the course of training, students will gain an introduction to the field and learn to deploy geographic information systems, methods of spatial analysis, programming, and machine learning on study cases. The program offers students practice-oriented activities, including a joint project on the study and design of particular city areas using a digital urban tool platform. As part of the training, students perform their own research project on a pressing urban issue under the guidance of their supervisors.Program partners
