FAQ

Which background is necessary to study the program?
The program requires a degree in computer science and computing, information systems and technologies, software engineering, applied informatics, mathematics and computer science, or any other IT field. Applicants may not be specialists in the field of the program.

What are the key features of the program?
Scalable fault-tolerant distributed web services are complex software and hardware systems that require deep knowledge in a range of fields. The program equips students with the skills and knowledge similar to those of industrial engineers with a vast work experience, whereas other programs are mainly focused on development as a whole, without delving into high-load distributed systems.

Can I combine work and studies? How many hours a week will I study?
The course implies a medium workload. Each semester, students will have from 5 to 6 courses, which allows them to work, preferably part-time. A job in a related field will be an advantage in class. Then, you will be able to complete your thesis project at your place of employment.
