About the program
Infochemistry is a promising new field of experimental science at the intersection of chemistry, biology, computer science, and mathematics. The first and thus far the only program in Russia offers a science-focused and interdisciplinary educational approach to train highly-qualified specialists at the intersection of chemistry and chemical engineering with biology, biotechnology, mathematics, computer science, and even robotics. Students of the program actively participate in interdisciplinary projects: for instance, related to computer modeling and analysis of complex chemical and biological systems, biotechnologies, creation of smart biomaterials and diagnostic systems, as well as modeling and analysis of personalized tracking in medicine and nutrition.
This Bachelor’s program offers high-quality education in IT and chemistry, including such branches as chemoinformatics, chemometrics, triboinformatics, infochemistry, artificial intelligence in chemistry, and chemical technologies. Students can improve their language skills in classes by international lecturers at the university or during internships at the world’s top universities and research centers.
