About the program
The program trains specialists who can design food technologies, manage production systems, and employ digital tools.The program combines fundamental and applied aspects of foodtech. The latter involves digital technologies used in foodtech development and production – in particular, AI for formulating recipes, modeling processes, developing digital doubles of technologies and products, and mastering the tenets of robotic systems in foodtech.
Classes are taught equally by lecturers from ITMO and partner universities and executives and specialists from foodtech companies; practical modules are supported by business experts.
The faculty includes:
– Artem Ponomarev (CEO of Partner M);– Alena Zhelezoglo (head of development at the Prepared Food Department at Kolomensky Holding);
– Larisa Larionova (head of the R&D Department at Kolomensky Holding);
– Sergey Baidali (PhD in engineering and development director at Inspire);
– Tatyana Yanysheva (brand leader at VkusVill);
– Vitaliy Panov (CEO of Freecake);
– Mikhail Stepanov (founder, CIO, and brand chef at Uspeshnye Tekhnologii Pitaniya).
Starting the first year of studies, students will be involved in project activities and solve real-world tasks by partner companies, building their working experience while still at university.
