About the program

contactscontactscontacts
This is an online program for those who wish to expand their engineering skills, but are not able to attend a full-time Master’s program. The program trains students in the design of electric drives, with an emphasis on digital and analogue drive control systems. Over the course of the program, students acquire the necessary skills to work with computer-assisted design programs and calculate the engineering parameters of electric drives. They learn to recognize internal elements of electric drives and their control systems; design circuits, power electronics, and microprocessors; program control units and logic devices. During their first year, students attend lectures and laboratory classes, which use interactive models. The second year is devoted entirely to internships. ITMO provides students with the opportunity to complete internships by working at the university’s labs, at partner companies, or at a job of their choosing.
