About the program

This Master’s program will provide training on how to identify, protect, defend, and use intellectual property (IP). It is the winner and laureate of the IP RUSSIA AWARDS in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

IP Management Strategy is an interdisciplinary program that combines two areas of study: engineering and management. The program is aimed at training future IP managers at high-tech companies and state structures, candidates for patent attorneys at Russian and international authorities, and private tech consultants.

The program has several major selling points:

  • it promotes a project-oriented approach;
  • it combines theoretical and practical classes;
  • its content is up-to-date with the current state of the IP market;
  • the program is partnered with several companies in the industry, which gives its students and graduates ample internship and employment opportunities;
  • among the members of the staff are practicing patent attorneys in the jurisdictions of Russia and the Eurasian Patent Organization.

The program is open to students with backgrounds in technology, law, economics, biology, medicine, and humanities.

    From the very start, I began to gain practical skills and hands-on experience that are crucial for becoming a licensed patent attorney in Russia. I want to thank the team and the program for opening up an exciting multifaceted world of IP for me. I proudly promote my program among the scientific community, and I know many people believe that its graduates are topping the market. My former classmates predominantly work at prestigious companies – which is all thanks to the program.
